Amsterdam Central Station
This is the only train station in the inner city of Amsterdam and is totally surrounded by canals. This station is only a few minutes from the Schiphol Airport, so if you are traveling through this city on your way to the airport, it is an easy trip. Parked around the train station are thousands of bicycles which many people use to get around. This is a flat area and heavily populated so a bicycle ride can help prevent pollution and also saves space. Bike rentals are everywhere and can be used to see the sites of Amsterdam as you can then stop where ever you want and enjoy the experience that Amsterdam offers. If you are the adventurist, then you may enjoy riding around town. There is also a universal ticket for all public transportation that you can use when your legs give out from all the bike riding.
