Some Free things to do and see on your Las Vegas Holiday

Some Free things to do and see on your Las Vegas Holiday

If you have a cheap holiday to Las Vegas in mind and want to keep your money saved for shopping and the Casinos, take a look at some of the free things there are to do and see in Vegas.

 A guaranteed roaring good time

Why not pay a visit to the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino where you will be able to see the Lion Habitat?  This daily attraction which is open from 11am to 10 pm will allow you to see these fantastic creatures as they play, relax and eat in their jungle habitat within a 5,000 square foot glass habitat.

 Have a blast….a Volcanic Blast

If you can still stand the sight of Volcanoes, then you should stop by at the Mirage Hotel and Casino between 7pm and 12pm. Every night, a man made Volcano erupts every 15 minutes, wowing the crowds with its spectacular flames and molten lave.

Rock and Roll the night away

Open 24 hours a day and seven days a week, you can take a look around the Rock and Roll Memorabilia exhibition at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. This great collection has pieces from various rock and roll legends including the Beatles, Aerosmith, the Ramones and Guns N Roses.

Watch new TV shows before they air

This one is a great way to spend an afternoon if you are on holiday with children. At the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino sites the CBS Television City. Allow your children and yourselves to become TV executives and see brand new television shows that are set to be aired on Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1 and many others. Using touch screen devices you will be able to rate the shows and help the networks find out what is popular. This attraction is free, but tickets are limited.

Experience a thunderstorm as you shop

If you happen to be shopping at the Miracle Mile Shopping Mall next to the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino then you may come across this attraction by accident. Every hour a computer generated thunderstorm takes over the Mall and treats the visitors to a thunder and lightning storm.

New York City

New York City has perhaps the most tourist attractions out of every city in the world. New York is a cultural melting pot, where people from every corner of the world meet.

Empire State Building

No visit to New York City would be complete without a trip to the Empire State Building. Check out the views from the top:

Every year more than 3,500,00 people travel to the observatory on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building. There are several restaurants inside the tower, which even includes a post office and two banks.

Concerts & Music

New York is internationally renowned for the quality of musicians who either grew up or lived in the city. From past greats like John Lennon to current smash hits like Lady Gaga they all had one thing in common – their love of NYC.  If you will be in New York in May I would recommend getting Lady Gaga tickets and checking out just what a New York music show is all about for yourself.

Sports

Sports fans are spoilt for choice in NY.  For NFL you have the New York Giants playing out of the Giants Stadium. Its extremely easy to get to, as it is under 7 miles from Times Square.

For Baseball fans you may want to take the chance to see a New York Yankees game.  Again its incredibly easy to get to as a tourist – just follow these directions.
